Universities I visit or have interest

UNALM Univeristy

UNALM stands for Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. I remember going to this university since I was 6 going to the house of my Grandma that was really close. I always wanted to go and see the farm animals and eat lunch in their really yummy restaurant. I can really say it is my dream University.

Going this year to a tour in the University Experiencing how it would be one day in like if I studied there was awesome! Once you enter to the University you notice it is huge and full of nature. Trees all over, flowers, birds, all kind of animals. I felt peace and relaxed entering here watching students in the grass laying down, reading, drawing or doing homework. I loved the campus in the University. The teachers I got to meet were really nice and you could tell how passionate they were at what they teach.

Students in this university are usually people from the highlands. And it is awesome! Awesome learning the new cultures. I can really see the difference on how nice and caring they are comparing to some of the people here in Lima. All of them worked really hard to get inside this university. Some of them I met, tried 5 times to be able to enter to their dreamed University. I really think it is worth the try and the effort in the study.

For each 100 people 2 enter, the best grades in the exam. The exam to enter to the university is about 100 questions and it is graded over 20 at the end. The minimum grade to pass is 11/20. However since lots of people try to get in, only the highest grades enter. This is around 17-20 points. Below 17 it is really rare to pass.

Something that made me love this university even more was the opportunity it brings to their students. This is a Nacional university that the maximum fee is 2,000 soles a semester. This means about 600 dollars each semester. It has lots of agreements with universities around the world. In which you can postulate and if you get in they will send you with all payed.  I found really interesting all the options you have to grow in this awesome University. However I’m always opens to look for new ones that will give me other types of opportunities :)
